Making your reservation
1. The website system includes a total amount quite different from what I calculated the total stay would be, why?
The total amount is not the total of your reservation, but the 50% you will have to pay as deposit at the reservation. It is named as total amount in the reservation system so that when connecting with the bank card payment interface it get's the amount right.
2. Do I get a refund when cancelling?
Cancellation policy is published both in the Rates section of each lodging, and also in the reservation procedure. You will be refunded either by card refund or by bank transfer part of your prepayment. The part that you will receive depends on how late your cancellation is made. Minimum penalty will be of 12,5% total stay in any of our houses. In Apartments Los Telares, the penalty is of 1 night.
3. Who am I making a reservation with?
Every time you make a phone call to us, send an email or make your reservation, you are dealing directy with the owner. The houses and apartments belong to the company Los Telares, owner of this website as well. In any case, we are not an agency.
4. I am currently making a reservation with less than the minimum stay, but the system seems to be OK with it. Will that be a problem later on?
We are so sorry, but it is a problem. Our reservations system is not very bright, so it makes no difference that you make the reservation under the minimum nights. But when we see your reservation in our system, we will contact you to cancel or modify it so that it complies with the minimum nights amount. The cancellation in this case will be cost free.
5. After booking in Apartments Los Telares in Hermigua, I have seen a charging of 1 € to my credit card.
This is complicated. First of all, it is not a charge. We have not received that money, it is an operation that banks call "preauthorisation". It means that we have asked the bank to preauthorise an operation of 1€ to your card. That way, if the bank rejects it, we know that your card is either not valid or has no funds. Anyways, the balance will return to your card in no time, as we will in no case confirm the preauthorisation. The money has not gone any farther than to your own bank office. It might seem odd, but it actually is the procedure that sites as Booking.com require the hotels to do to assure that the reservations are not fakely guaranteed. Not many hotels bother, but we do.
Rates / Prices
1. Are there any last minute offers?
We never publish last minute offers. We value guests that make their reservations with anticipation. On occassions we make special Early Bird offers. It wouldn't be fair that because they have booked with more than enought time our guests receive worse price than those reaching our door or making a last minute reservation.
2. Will I find better prices elsewhere?
Our rates have a BEST PRICE GUARANTEE. If you see in other reservations site a lower sales price, we will refund the difference. Of course, we do not include here websites that only contain information (no reservations available) and that might not have updated data.
3. Why do I pay an additional rate when I include an extra guest (child or adult)
The cleaning and preparation of the house varies, so we charge for each additional person.
Lodgings
1. Do the houses have towels, sheets, covers...?
In every lodging characteristics we always include "basic household items". That means that everything you will basically need (towels, sheets, etc) is included.
2. I need an extra bed in the house, will that be possible?
If the house admits and extra guest, we will state so in the characteristics and rates sections. If not, then no. We do not make exceptions with the occupancy of our lodgings.
